Day to day as a Safety Specialist

As a Safety Specialist at Barrett Petfood, your day-to-day expectations will revolve around fostering a culture of safety and compliance. You will conduct regular safety inspections and audits, identifying potential hazards and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. What You'll Do

  • Support safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards

  • Investigate incidents, document findings, and recommend corrective actions

  • Track and analyze safety data and trends to drive continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: Previous experience in safety, EHS, or manufacturing (food or pet food preferred but not required)
