Job Summary:

Renegade Processing is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness, safety, and compliance with food processing sanitation standards. The ideal candidate will take pride in ensuring our facility meets all health and safety regulations, contributing to the production of high-quality, safe food products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize production equipment, floors, and facility areas according to sanitation protocols.
  • Ensure all cleaning procedures comply with USDA and company safety guidelines.
  • Operate cleaning equipment such as high-pressure hoses and chemical dispensers.
  • Dispose of waste materials properly and maintain sanitation logs.
  • Inspect and report any maintenance or sanitation issues to the supervisor.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
  • Work collaboratively with production staff to ensure a seamless workflow.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Prior experience in sanitation, janitorial work, or food processing is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Understanding of cleaning and sanitation best practices.
  • Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and protective equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs, stand for long periods, and work in varying temperatures.
  • Supervisory experience is a plus
