FULL-TIME SECURITY OFFICER

Position Title: Security Officer
Salary: 18.00 Hourly
Status: Non-exempt – Hourly
Supervisory Capacity: None
License Classification: Key Employee, Class II, III Licensed

The Security Officer is responsible for casino security, protection of assets and the safety of guests and employees on their shift. Shall be independent of all other casino supervisory management authority and shall work cooperatively with all casino departments and assist outside regulatory agencies, TGRA and Law Enforcement in required tasks.

Essential Functions:


  • Overseeing the physical safety of guests and employees, and their property
  • Overseeing the physical safety of the casino and casino assets
  • Controlling access to and documenting issuance of casino keys in conjunction with Tribal Gaming Agency and Casino Staff
  • Controlling access to and documenting issuance of non-sensitive and permanently issued keys
  • Escorting cash from one location to another, including patron’s who win large jackpots
  • Assisting in Player Terminals and ATR’s
  • Assisting in the payment of VGD Jackpots
  • Assisting with investigations in regard to incidents or missing keys cooperatively with TGRA regard to regulatory, or illegal activity
  • Monitoring suspicious incidents
  • Documenting incidents
  • Handling of lost and found items
  • Administering first aid procedures when necessary
  • Additional duties as required by management to assist at the C-Station or Tradewinds when needed with security needs
  • The candidate must be able to pass a drug test and background check
