We are hiring a <strong>Senior Marketing Technology Manager</strong> to lead the strategy, adoption, and optimization of personalization and experimentation marketing technology across DDS.<br><br>In this role, you’ll operate at the intersection of customer data, AI, and marketing technology—leveraging advanced platforms to accelerate experimentation, automate personalization, and optimize customer-facing experiences. As an individual contributor, you’ll shape how DDS delivers intelligent, adaptive journeys by driving innovation and scaled adoption of marketing technology capabilities. We’re looking for a Marketing Technology leader with deep AI experience and a forward-thinking mindset—someone energized by driving innovation, readiness, and operational excellence across DDS and broader Microsoft. This role plays a critical part in accelerating speed, scale, and autonomation across our personalization and experimentation platforms. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.<br><br>In alignment with our Microsoft values, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive work environment for all employees to positively impact our culture every day.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Enables strategy, operations, and usage of marketing technology to drive maximum impact for Experimentation and Personalization.</li><li>Shape the future of adaptive marketing—ensuring our systems and strategies evolve in lockstep with a rapidly advancing ecosystem of AI, privacy, and customer expectations.</li><li>Collaborate across Product, Engineering, and Marketing to identify and deliver business opportunities and capabilities that accelerate marketing results, with a focus on customer engagement and first-party data utilization to deepen our understanding of the customer journey.</li><li>Champion rapid experimentation practices, establish closed-loop feedback mechanisms, and scale successful tactics through automation, all while upholding the highest standards of quality, compliance, and security.</li><li>Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to design and scale a cross-platform personalization and experimentation across Marketing technology tooling (e.g., Adobe Target, Customer Data Platform (CDP), Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)), maximizing the value of first-party data for segmentation and insights.</li><li>Apply advanced AI/Machine Learning techniques—including reinforcement learning, generative models, and real-time decisioning—to drive next-gen personalization and testing in partnership with Data Science teams.</li><li>Pilot emerging AI technologies to unlock new customer engagement and growth opportunities.</li><li>Lead technical scoping for new use cases and proof of concepts (POCs), advancing program maturity through automated, orchestrated, and predictive personalization.</li><li>Translate business goals into executable experiments and logic, including signal capture, audience stitching, and offer delivery. Ensure rapid feedback loops that adapt experiences in real time using AI-driven insights.</li><li>Evolve audience management by integrating AI-powered signals and segmentation into activation workflows.</li><li>Define and govern data taxonomy to support a unified audience view for Digital Direct Sales.</li><li>Drive implementation planning for A/B testing, personalized experiences, and AI-assisted web features.</li><li>Serve as the technical advisor for personalization and experimentation technologies within the team.</li><li>Contribute to documentation, frameworks, and training for partner enablement.</li><li>Champion privacy-informed personalization and help shape responsible AI standards across experimentation and targeting.</li><li>Embody our culture and values. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><strong>Required/minimum qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years of marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience OR equivalent experience.</li><li>3+ years of experience leveraging technology platforms to connect customer data with personalization and experimentation strategies.</li><li>3+ years leading cross-functional teams to leverage new technology solutions that solve critical customer and/or business needs. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Additional Or Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years of marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years of marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience OR equivalent experience.</li><li>3+ years technology/process improvement experience.<br><br></li></ul>Marketing Technology IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.<br><br>Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
