If this resonates with you, take a closer look at what this role offers.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGOwn and advocate for the health and quality of the solutions that the team builds, including an on-call rotation and responding to incidents as necessary.Design and implement solutions for the Automox platform that runs over 1 million endpoints globally across all three major operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux).Design, develop and ship high-quality technical solutions to enable delivery of new platform and client-side features for our endpoint software.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions.Lead through collaboration for software development best practices, and writing well-designed code.Operate with a quality-first mindset.Become familiar with the systems you build and take pride in writing scalable and maintainable code.BACKGROUND & SKILLS REQUIRED5+ years of experience in software development with proven experience maintaining and delivering production software related to cloud-connected client-side applications.Proficiency in Java with experience building cloud-based services and integrations. The right candidate will leverage their extensive engineering background to be impactful in any language.Excellent written and verbal communication including async collaboration, documentation, and ensuring visibility of work.Expertise in Windows and/or Linux and/or MacOS application development.Data-driven problem-solving approach with emphasis on customer focus, innovative solutions and decision-making.Experience building applications in cloud environments (AWS or GCP) with an emphasis on security best practices.Experience working as a Software Engineer developing content and content delivery applications leveraged by SaaS platforms and Agent/IoT software.Strong familiarity with systems programming, networking, virtual machine orchestration, DevOps, and shell-scripting languages (Bash/Powershell)The salary range listed is the base pay range for this position. In addition, the total compensation package includes bonus, equity and benefits.
