Your Role
As a Service Center Manager, you'll combine your technical and managerial expertise to guide, nurture, and train others in delivering exceptional customer service. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities. You'll constantly be on your toes, interacting with your team and customers to find the best solutions for their vehicular needs while fostering customer loyalty. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing the complete operation of a service center such as: hiring, training, employee discipline, customer service, maintaining store inventories and cleanliness, attaining profit targets, ensuring Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) compliance, and adhering to other policies and procedures
  • Overseeing inventory, labor management and financial performance of the service center
  • Mentoring, guiding, and training the team for their professional growth
  • Executing and imparting training on automotive preventive maintenance tasks including changing oil, checking and refilling other vehicle fluids, replacing filters, and inspecting and replacing lights and wipers
  • Ensuring a tidy, well-structured service center and promoting a secure work environment
  • Providing outstanding customer service leadership
  • Building trust to win repeat, loyal customers

Your Path to Success
Your qualifications should include:
  • Friendly, team-oriented disposition
  • Effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in basic mathematical operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
  • Understanding of cash handling, facility management, and safety control policies and practices
  • Reliable means of transport for work commutes
  • Capability of occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended time periods and climb stairs
  • Possess full mobility and the ability to twist, stoop, and bend
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • A minimum of 2 years managerial or supervisory experience in the quick lube or automotive industry
