About the role
GotBrakes is hiring one hungry, hands-on marketer who can drive calls and booked jobs fast. This is a blended role: physical street marketing (yard signs, door hangers, car flyers) + daily social media (Reels/TikTok/FB/IG) with measurable results.

Schedule: Flexible (PT 10–30 hrs/wk or Full Time), remote + field work. We’ll meet 2–3×/week in Jax to exchange materials and review metrics.
Travel: Willing to travel to Tallahassee and Orlando at least 2×/month (gas & hotel covered).

What you’ll do (daily/weekly)

Physical Marketing (Primary)

  • Place 20–30 yard signs per day in strategic high-traffic locations (we provide maps/targets).
  • Photo proof required for each placement (geo/time-stamped) to receive credit.
  • Distribute door hangers and car flyers in assigned neighborhoods/lots.
  • Manage inventory; if signs run low, ramp social & group posting that day.

Social Media & Content

  • Post daily on Facebook & Instagram; create Reels/TikToks showing our mobile brake service, tips, before/after, behind-the-scenes, promos.
  • Be comfortable on camera—host quick videos, voiceovers, and how-tos.
  • Grow followers: minimum +50/month on IG and +50/month on FB (tracked).
  • Engage 50 local Facebook groups per week (follow group rules), plus post on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace for promo visibility.
  • Shoot/edit short video ads (CapCut/Canva), graphics, and memes that convert to calls.

Lead Gen & Reporting

  • Everything is measured: use our tracking phone numbers/UTMs/QRs.
  • Log placements and posts in a shared sheet; submit daily recap (signs placed, posts made, groups posted, followers added, calls/leads generated).
  • Collaborate on simple giveaways/contests and seasonal promos that spark calls.

What success looks like (KPIs)

  • 20–30 yard signs/day placed with photo proof.
  • 7+ feed posts/week (FB/IG) and 5–10 Reels/TikToks/week.
  • 50 FB group posts/week across relevant local groups.
  • Follower growth:+50 IG and +50 FB per month.
  • Lead impact: measurable increase in calls and booked jobs attributed to your channels (we provide tracking numbers/links).
  • Responsiveness: comments/DMs acknowledged same day.

Requirements

  • Driver’s license, reliable car, and smartphone (you’ll be in the field daily).
  • Comfortable lifting/carrying sign bundles (≈ 20–30 lbs) and working outdoors.
  • On-camera confidence; strong short-form video skills (Reels/TikTok).
  • Facebook, Instagram, TikTok proficiency (posting, stories, Reels, group etiquette).
  • Basic design/video tools (Canva, CapCut or similar).
  • Own laptop/computer; able to work from home and in the field.
  • Organized, reliable, and obsessed with results (calls & bookings).
  • Willing to travel 2×/month to TLH/ORL (company covers gas & hotel).
  • Respect local posting rules; follow group guidelines and applicable sign ordinances.

Nice to have (not required):

  • Experience with Facebook/IG Ads, Google Sheets, call tracking, UTMs.

  • Gas budget up to $25/day for local field work; materials provided (signs, hangers, flyers).
  • Company covers gas & hotel for required TLH/ORL trips.
