We wrapped up our </span><a href="https://about.netflix.com/en/news/netflix-celebrates-two-years-of-advertising" target="_blank">first two years</a><span> of the journey and are well into year three with more exciting things to come!</span></p><p></p><h3>Our Team</h3><p></p><p><span>The Ads Platform Engineering org builds advertising systems and integrations that power the delivery of ads using our world-class content delivery ecosystem. We use a number of Netflix investments and innovations to power our ads - a unique mix of client and server-side ad insertions, state-of-the-art content delivery systems, ad encoding recipes, content understanding and metadata, etc. We deliver ads in a manner that’s thoughtful of our member’s viewing experience and drive great outcomes for advertisers. We also ensure that advertiser brand safety is ensured during serving, members only see the most appropriate ads for them.</span></p><p><span>The Campaign Management & Media Planning team is central to orchestrating the end-to-end campaign lifecycle and media planning capabilities for Netflix’s advertising business. We are building innovative, in-house ad tech solutions that empower advertisers and internal stakeholders to seamlessly plan, launch, monitor, and optimize campaigns at scale. Our systems serve as the bridge between advertiser intent and ad delivery, enabling seamless integration, automation, optimization, compliance adherence, troubleshooting, and management of advertising campaigns. We closely collaborate with partner teams across Order Management, Creatives, Audiences, Forecasting, Measurement, Reporting, and more to facilitate effective campaign management and media planning on behalf of our members, advertisers, and Netflix.</span></p><p></p><p><span>The team focuses on a few key areas in those domains </span></p><ul><li><p><span>Building applications and APIs that support every stage of the media planning process, from initial plan creation and inventory allocation through to campaign activation and completion.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Building applications for full-cycle campaign management - from setup through to monitoring and troubleshooting through to completion.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Building applications to facilitate the setup and execution of ads on Live Events</span></p></li><li><p><span>Providing transparency on performance as well as delivering actionable insights and recommendations to users</span></p></li><li><p><span>Collaborating with other stakeholders across Ads Platform (Engineering, Product, Data Science, and Design) to build solutions that will provide leverage for our technology and business.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span>Our team is new and yet faced with the enormous ambitions of building highly performant advertising systems and delivering high impact to our business by monetizing our incredible slate of content. As one of the newest entrants in the Connected TV advertising space that’s rapidly growing, we seek to build unique value propositions that help us differentiate from the competition and become a market leader in record time.</span></p><p></p><p><span>We are looking for highly motivated engineers working in the advertising space who are excited to join us on this journey.</span></p><p></p><h3>Skills & experience we’re seeking:</h3><ul><li><p><span>7+ years of experience, 4+ years of experience in Ads domain</span></p></li><li><p><span>Broad knowledge of ad tech and advertising landscape, programmatic advertising, and digital marketing trends.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Familiarity with the full campaign lifecycle - from RFPs to pre-flight setup through to post-flight reporting. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience in building first party tools, APIs and services that leverage data and real-time insights to support media planning workflows.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Familiarity with AHC (agency holding cos) planning tools, and various forms of media planning support enabled through integrations.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Familiarity with the main aspects required for a successful campaign - including, but not limited to Audiences, Creatives, Measurement, Forecasting, Ad Serving, Reporting, Billing, and OMS.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Developed many cloud-based applications and comfortable with modern programming languages (preferably object-oriented),</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><h3>Nice to haves:</h3><ul><li><p><span>Contributed to an ads industry technology standard (e.g  VAST, OpenRTB) or worked on an industry consortium effort, working group etc.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Working knowledge of AI/ML/genAI techniques and an ability to apply them to sales processes such as channel, product, targeting, budget recommendations.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Familiarity with legal compliance and changing landscape of ads regulations around the world.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience working in the CTV space and knowledge of its unique constraints</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience working with ads on Live content</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span>Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range.
