Job Description:

In order to excel as a Store Team Member, exceptional customer service must be provided by collaborating with the ALDI team and ensuring that merchandising, stocking, and cleaning duties are fulfilled. Working ambitiously will cultivate a desirable shopping experience for customers.

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • A typical schedule consists of putting in 32 to 40 hours of work per week

Job Duties and Obligations:

The ability to fulfill job duties and obligations, with or without accommodation, is vital.

  • Utilize effective communication channels while utilizing the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) to ensure that issues are resolved, goals are met, and professionalism is maintained.
  • The responsibilities of cashiers encompass processing customer transactions, performing cleaning duties, and arranging merchandise shelves in an orderly manner
  • Improving the shopping experience for customers involves being attentive to their needs and ensuring that they are satisfied with the service they receive during their shopping journey
  • Work closely with your team members and maintain clear and open lines of communication with the store management team
  • Management may find it advantageous to receive regular updates on discrepancies in inventory, scanning errors, and other issues that could have an impact on product efficacy
  • Comply with inventory counting protocols and monitor the accuracy of inventory levels
  • By adhering to clearly defined cash policies and procedures, the risk of incurring losses is minimized
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures to ensure that the handling of documents and data maintains the utmost level of security and confidentiality

Physical Demands:

  • Skill in moving store products from the receiving section to the shelves, including the ability to lift and display merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds at distinct heights on the shelves
  • Consistently, one should be engaged in multiple physical tasks like sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking while working in the store
  • Duties must be performable with or without accommodations as per employment regulations

Qualifications:
