Microsoft Corporation has the following job opportunity:

Provide technical expertise and consumer insights to drive digital transformation. Engage in sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation, maintenance, or other integrated solutions of Microsoft products. Promote adoption of technology by helping users optimize specialized solutions, which may include the demonstration of features beyond core functionality, dissemination of technical information on complex applications, and guidance regarding best practice adoption. Serve as a subject matter expert in a pre- or post-sales production environment and resolve any complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. Coordinate with stakeholders to assess utilization of Microsoft technologies and prepare detailed product specifications for the development and integration of solutions. Troubleshoot frontline technical readiness and process compliance to accelerate scalability. Advise stakeholders on the installation and support related to systems, networks, or data communications technologies and conduct related product capability assessments and validation. May build a mini-application based on customer requirements, which involves rapid prototyping or product demonstration. May collaborate with cross functional teams to research market conditions to gather information and determine potential sales of a product or service, or create a marketing campaign. May analyze information on competitors, prices, sales, and methods of marketing and distribution. Requires domestic travel up to 25%. Telecommuting permitted 50% or more, but less than 100% per week within same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location.

Minimum Requirements

-Education: Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, Physics, or a related field.

-Experience: 36 months experience designing, implementing, and testing computer software or providing technical software support.

-Specific Skills: This position requires 36 months of experience in each of the following: PSTN concepts; SIP Protocol; TCP/IP Protocol; VOIP Protocol; Voice Codecs; Network Architecture; and Analog Gateways.

-Requires domestic travel up to 25%.

-Telecommuting permitted 50% or more, but less than 100% per week within same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location.

Pay Range and Benefits Information

The offered base pay range for this specific position (EG14533622), in New York, NY, is $168,000 to $198,000 per year.

Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.

At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role. Benefits/perks listed may vary depending on the nature of employment with Microsoft and the country work location. U.S.-based employees have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and wellbeing benefits, among others. U.S.-based employees also receive, per calendar year, up to 10 scheduled paid holidays, and up to 80 hours Holistic Health Time Off. Additionally, hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid vacation time, and salaried/exempt employees have Discretionary Time Off (DTO).
