Wildlife/natural resource research firm is hiring professional, articulate, reliable bilingual (English/Spanish) interviewers to conduct telephone research surveys (NO SALES). Telecommuting position requires reliable (high speed preferred) internet access, laptop or PC, smart phone, a quiet distraction free area from which to work and basic computer skills. Part-time evening and some daytime hours; hours available Monday-Friday 12-8pm; schedule can vary based on project needs. Virginia residents only.

Our telephone interviewers' mission is to help natural resource and outdoor recreation agencies and organizations better understand and work with their constituents, customers and the public.
  • Responsive Management's telephone interviewers have conducted research for every state fish and wildlife agency and most of the federal resource agencies, including the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the National Park Service, the U.S. Forest Service, the Bureau of Land Management, the U.S. Coast Guard, and the National Marine Fisheries Service.
  • We have flexible part-time shifts for telephone interviewers. Employees set their own schedules! Please note that schedules vary by project and there may be occasional periods of downtime while projects are being prepared for administration.
  • Telephone interviewers are provided with paid training and are given support from our management staff and their peers.

Job Requirements

  • Telephone interviewers should have the ability to read, write, and speak English AND Spanish fluently.
  • A reading and comprehension test will be administered during the interviewing process.
  • Telephone interviewers should have the ability to listen and comprehend respondent answers and accurately and efficiently type answers into the survey platform.
  • Telephone interviewers should have the ability to sit and type for the majority of shift
  • Telephone interviewers should have availability on Saturdays from 12-7pm

Equipment Requirements

Telephone interviewers should have:

  • Smart phone that is capable of downloading apps and receiving incoming messages via data or Wi-Fi connection
  • A Windows or IOS machine that is capable of running several webpages at once
  • A reliable high speed internet connection, with direct (hardwired/ethernet) connection preferred
  • A current, working anti-virus program
  • An up-to-date operating system for their hardware
