About the position

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with National Directors, VP of Strategic Sales, Area and National Vice Presidents and Market Leaders to develop company strategy and training approaches.
  • Manages an active portfolio of business development targets and executes growth strategies.
  • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners and exploring opportunities.
  • Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies and evaluating options.
  • Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new ventures with company strategies.
  • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements and developing contracts.
  • Communicates daily with leadership on current market trends and opportunities.
  • Works with Market, Area, and National teams to support delivery efforts.
  • Travels often to visit current and future clients.
  • Holds accountability to multiple federal, state, and program requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business/Marketing/Communications/Provider Relations preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in new business development and industry management preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills, with training/facilitation skills preferred.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to manage stress under pressure.
  • Proven experience working with a mature business development process.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage complex teams and shifting priorities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency in the English language is required.
  • A good sense of humor and a positive outlook.
