Warehouse Associates needed in Phillipsburg, NJ at Flexport! Multiple first shifts available earning $19.50/hour. The role includes picking, packing, sorting shipping, and receiving of various products. Overtime opportunity available too!

Location and Placement:
  • The position will be located in Phillipsburg, NJ


Work Hours: 8pm - 6am
  • SUNDAY TO WEDNESDAY
Pay Range: 19.50

About the Position:
Our Client is a leader in Supply Chain Logistics Distribution. They are a newly located in the Phillipsburg area. This is an entry level role at Flexport as Warehouse Associate you will perform steady and standard workload, The role includes performing various job roles in a rotation, reacting to lights and sounds should deviations occur, and communication with shift leads to ensure any deviations of product that are detected are reported in a timely manner. The role includes picking, packing, sorting shipping, and receiving of various products. They are currently looking to bring on a team player to fill an exciting role as a Warehouse Associate. Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and put away inventory
  • Pack and ship orders according to customer specifications
  • Load boxes into trucks for shipment
  • Maintain accurate inventory records
  • Scan and label inventory items
  • Organize and store inventory in a safe and efficient manner
  • Troubleshoot problems
  • Operate and maintain warehouse equipment
  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized
  • Follow all safety procedures
  • Report any safety hazards or concerns immediately
  • Communicate effectively with other warehouse team members


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse or similar environment
  • Must be able to Read, Write and Speak English
  • Lift up to 49 pounds
  • Push utility cards up to 60 pounds
  • Use carts, dollies, hand trucks and other gear to move items around
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely
