Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking Warehouse Sorter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently sorting and organizing incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring inventory accuracy, and assisting in the smooth operation of the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort and organize products and inventory in the warehouse according to designated categories and locations.
  • Inspect items for quality and ensure proper labeling, packing, and storage.
  • Assist with unloading deliveries and placing items in the correct storage areas.
  • Operate manual or automated sorting equipment (e.g., conveyor belts, barcode scanners) safely and effectively.
  • Perform periodic inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Assist in order fulfillment by picking and packing products as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment.
  • Report damaged or missing items to the warehouse supervisor or manager.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and management to improve operational efficiency.

  • Attend training courses as may be required by AGI.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Warehouse Knowledge: Warehouse Sorters must have a basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
  • Good Communication Skills: Warehouse Sorters must have good English verbal and written communication skills in order to interact effectively in a professional manner with customers, office agents, and warehouse staff.
  • Teamwork: Warehouse Sorters must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Organization Skills: Warehouse Sorters must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Time Management Skills: Office Supervisors must be able to manage their time effectively to complete tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment and must be able to multitask.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, sorting, or inventory-related role is a plus but not required.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
  • Work in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.

Schedule of Hours:

As an airline services provider, Alliance Ground International requires its employees to be able to work flexible schedules which may be adjusted to meet operational demands such as flight delays, cancellations, ad hocs, etc. Strict adherence to company attendance policies is expected and enforced.
