Position Purpose & Summary

Wedding and Event Make-up Artist providers administer professional makeup services, and additional spa service recommendations to assist in the development growth of spa engagement and revenue sales.


Essential Functions:

  • Provide high-quality Bridal and Event makeup.
  • Advise guests and suggest service recommendations by analyzing guest needs.
  • Perform consultations regarding services and recommended products.
  • Accurately maintain and update guest records.
  • Arrival promptly for shift for each appointment and perform services within the time allotted for the service.
  • Maintain consistent, regular attendance record.
  • Properly open and close each shift according to SOPs, transport guest in spa facilities pre- and post- service.
  • Accurately perform makeup services as booked by the guest.
  • Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls.
  • Have complete knowledge and proficiency of services and products while educating guests in these areas.
  • Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa's policies and procedures.
  • Communicate to management all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.
  • Maintain complete confidentiality in all guest matters in accordance with company policy.
  • Develop professional and personalized relationships with regular guests; build strong and loyal clientele.
  • Handle guests' questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
  • Possess the ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
  • Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
  • Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
  • Deliver "I Am Proud" service standards and department-specific signature touch points.
  • Establish cross-departmental channels of communication among teammates that are consistent and complete.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Inform Concierge Team if a service is changed to a different service.
    • Be flexible with schedule, supporting the needs of the spa.
    • Perform prep work and properly clean and restock room as required.
    • Ensure adequate stock of supplies (linen management) and equipment; inform when stock is low.
    • Communicate to management all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.
    • Actively promote all Wellness treatments, services, retail, programs, and promotions.
    • Provide accurate details of treatments, packages, services, treatment contraindications, facility, and hours.
    • Provide accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to all requests by guests - ensuring satisfaction.
    • Communicate to management all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.
    • Utilize spa computers with skill and proficiency, document guest information in electronic record.
    • Greet every guest, member, and team member with "I Am Proud" standards and set a positive tone for every interaction.

Position Requirements:


  1. Minimum Knowledge & Skills: 2 years' experience in Wedding and Event Makeup, complete makeup kit, portfolio preferred.

  1. Formal Education and Job-Related Experience: High School graduate.

  1. License, Registration, and/or Certification Required: Current State of Colorado Cosmetology or Esthetician License.
