<strong>Description<br><br></strong>As part of the brand new Worldwide Amazon Stores FinTech Reporting team, you will be given the tools and the environment to drive change in one of the fastest growing, largest and most complex retail orgs in the world.<br><br>This role provides the perfect opportunity to take on a wide variety of green fields projects and expand the skill set into data engineering with the AWS stack, Python and TMPy.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong>Work with business customers, developers and TM1 Support to research, document and resolve TM1 system issues<br><br>Work with cross-functional teams to develop, and continuously improve, solutions that accelerate cycle times, alleviate cumbersome manual processes, and ensure financial results are accurate<br><br>Interact with business customers to understand and document their business processes and requirements<br><br>Manage ongoing user & system support activity according to priority (including rotational on-call availability for critical systems support), and coordinate large-scale change requests with development teams<br><br>Able to code with any python or any such programming language to calculate and present data.<br><br>Key job responsibilities<br><br>Deliver reliable, scalable, and efficient business solutions by supporting all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, modeling & design, development, testing, deployment, integration, and documentation.<br><br>Partner with peer Finance teams to discover new development opportunities and identify best-possible innovative solutions.<br><br>Work with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that accelerate cycle times, eliminate cumbersome manual processes, and ensure financial forecasts become increasingly more accurate.<br><br>Provide support and improvement across series of internally development models, systems and tools.<br><br><strong>Basic Qualifications<br><br></strong>Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Finance/Accounting, or a related discipline<br><br>1+ year experience working in financial planning/budgeting, business analysis, or a related analytics field that includes financial modeling, problem solving, and gathering/translating business requirements<br><br>1+ year experience working with IBM Cognos TM1 (Planning Analytics) solutions or related Performance Management technologies (Hyperion, SAP, Anaplan or similar)<br><br><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong>Experience with dimension management software processes and MDM tools<br><br>Experience with Python, particularly TM1Py.<br><br>Project management & reporting experience, and familiarity with software development methodologies<br><br>Familiarity with AWS solutions such as S3 and Redshift<br><br><ul><li> Knowledge of SQL authoring, RDBMS database interaction, data warehousing concepts, or third-party ETL tools<br><br></li></ul>Successful experience working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment<br><br>Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.<br><br>Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.
