Job Overview
Texas LLC Experts is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper proficient in QuickBooks Online to assist with client bookkeeping and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience setting up the chart of accounts for partnerships, particularly in agriculture or cattle breeding operations, and preparing accurate financial statements including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.

This position may involve ongoing or project-based work, depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and customize QuickBooks Online accounts for new clients, including designing and implementing the chart of accounts for partnership and livestock-related entities.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and perform account reconciliations.
  • Prepare clear and accurate Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and related financial reports.
  • Record and categorize transactions in accordance with standard accounting practices.
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts regularly.
  • Track investor contributions, distributions, and equity activity where applicable.
  • Support including financial review and documentation as needed.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness in all bookkeeping tasks.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required.
  • Experience setting up the chart of accounts for partnerships or agricultural businesses is strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (public or private).
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting, including P&L and Balance Sheet preparation.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • (Optional) QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification or similar credential is a plus.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Contract or part-time position (flexible hours).
  • Pay range: $15–$35 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Remote work available.
