Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are acting on behalf of a client to recruit a

CNC Wood Machinist

Working 5 Days a week, Mon – Thurs 07.30 – 4.45 & Fridays – 07.30 to 11.30am (39hrs basic) plus overtime when available.

Our client is a well-established company based in Morley; they offer an opportunity to join a great team in a pleasant work environment.

It's a varied role, our client manufactures furniture, it will require you to operate several CNC wood machining tools.

Job Purpose:

Take care, to machine materials to make furniture without causing any damage.

To complete work to a high-quality standard, whilst meeting deadlines.

To work with the production team to achieve the production schedule.

To observe company operational procedures / standards and individual customer requirements.

To observe Health and Safety regulations, being careful to look after yourself and others whilst at work.

To respond positively to any reasonable management request as required, in the overall management and development of the Factory.

Experience and skills required:

Previous CNC Wood Machining experience, preferably for a furniture manufacturer or simililar.

Good level of fitness and ability to lift heavy materials and furniture all day every day.

Excellent timekeeping and attendance.

Hours of work:

Monday – Thursday 07.30am – 4.45pm and Friday 07.30 to 11.30am

Pay & Benefits:

£15.30 per hour (£31,028.40 per annum basic)
