Position Summary:

Hill Air is seeking an energetic and experienced Corporate Flight Attendant to join our Corporate Flight Department located at Love Field in Dallas, TX. While the Flight Attendant’s primary responsibility will be for passenger safety and comfort, the Flight Attendant will regularly order in-flight catering, whether for flights the Flight Attendant will crew, or for others, and will be responsible for preparing and serving in-flight meals. This position requires round-the-clock availability, excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills as well as the ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality. The selected individual will be motivated, conscientious, decisive, and capable of making critical decisions in a moment’s notice.

Responsibilities:

General:

  • Maintain 24/7 on-demand availability to accommodate trip scheduling, catering changes, and urgent requests.
  • Update databases (Dropbox) for passenger and crew preferences, catering providers, and stock inventories.
  • Ensure confidentiality regarding passenger identities and maintain professionalism.

In-Flight Duties:

  • Anticipate passenger needs, providing an elite onboard experience.
  • Perform pre-flight safety checks and brief passengers on safety procedures.
  • Conduct periodic cabin checks throughout the flight to ensure passenger comfort and safety, responding promptly to any requests or concerns.
  • Maintain cabin cleanliness and restocking of supplies during flight.
  • Operate all features of the Cabin Management systems, audio and video systems and galley equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with aviation regulation and company safety procedures during all phases of flight.
  • Provide emergency response and assistance as required, including administering first aid if necessary.

Procurement and Stock Management:

  • Ensure the aircraft cabin is properly outfitted with necessary linens, china, crystal, flatware, and manage special outfitting projects.
  • Conduct spot treatments and manage laundering and dry cleaning of aircraft linens and towels.
  • Monitor inventory in aircraft and stock rooms, rotating stock and removing expired items.

Catering:

  • Assist with creating customized menus for trips, taking into account flight duration, passenger count, and preferences; secure approval from Principals’ administrators.
  • Develop and maintain global relationships with catering providers to ensure reliable service.
  • Assist with the coordination of international catering logistics, including navigating language and cultural barriers, packaging requirements, and ensuring food safety standards.
  • Prepare and print customized menus for VIP and international trips.
  • Assist with the ordering, procuring, and billing reconciliation for all catering and stock supplies, ensuring cost-effectiveness and freshness.
  • Proactively request catering feedback from crew members and handle post-trip quality checks.
  • Strategically manage packaging and refrigeration standards for catering items.
  • Stay informed of culinary trends to enhance onboard service offerings.

  • Ability to work with animals and around other allergens and products.
  • Ability to process information quickly and react in a positive manner during unexpected and/ or serious situations.
  • Must be able to remain calm, think and react quickly in all types of emergency situations.
  • Must be willing to work in a time-sensitive environment in a self-reliant manner and effectively handle stress that is associated with meeting deadlines and managing unexpected change
  • Must possess a valid U.S. passport or foreign passport with work authorization.
  • Must be authorized by law to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the United States.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Word, Pages/ Numbers, PowerPoint/Keynote, and database management.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience serving as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
  • Experience assisting in catering management and inventory control preferred.
  • Familiarity with emergency response procedures and customer service excellence standards required.
  • Experience working in a highly professional and confidential environment required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be physically capable of performing all required duties, including lifting and operating emergency equipment.
  • Must be able to move about aircraft and perform all required functions freely, effectively and quickly in a confined environment.
