Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This position requires excellent driving skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading deliveries.

Duties

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
  • Load and unload products using appropriate equipment, including pallet jacks.
  • Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and logs.
  • Assist with warehouse tasks as needed, including moving inventory and organizing stock.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficient in route driving with a strong understanding of local roadways.
  • Experience with heavy lifting and moving items safely and efficiently.
  • Familiarity with operating pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
  • Previous experience as a courier or delivery driver is preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs and be comfortable walking, lifting, bending, and stooping for extended periods.
  • Ability to work up to 10-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
