Job Title: Handyman & Lead – Airbnb Property Support Part-time

Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and bilingual (English/Spanish) Handyman with leadership capabilities to oversee on-site support for a high-traffic Airbnb property in West Hollywood. This position involves performing minor maintenance tasks, supporting cleaning turnover efforts, coordinating inventory and supplies, and serving as the lead point of contact for the Slate Support Team.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance & Repairs (Handyman Tasks):
  • Perform light maintenance as needed (e.g., touch-up paint, lock changes, minor furniture assembly, fixture replacements).
  • Troubleshoot and report larger issues requiring external vendors.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned by the client or Slate team.
2. Lead Role Responsibilities:
  • Serve as on-site point of contact between client), the cleaning crew, and Slate Support.
  • Supervise cleaning team and ensure quality checks are completed using digital checklists.
  • Submit photo/video documentation after each clean and maintenance task.
  • Communicate directly with Slate management regarding issues, updates, or urgent matters.
3. Inventory & Supply Coordination:
  • Receive, track, and deliver consumables and maintenance items (e.g., toiletries, linens, hardware).
  • Restock inventory during each turnover based on checklist.
4. Emergency Errands & Support:
  • Be on-call for urgent issues such as guest complaints, restocking needs, or property emergencies.
  • Ability to respond quickly and professionally with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred)
  • Prior handyman or maintenance experience (Airbnb or hospitality a plus)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
  • Comfortable using phone, text, Jobber, and checklists
  • Able to work weekends and holidays as needed
