What we're looking for

We are hiring immediately for a long term position on our hospitality team. We are looking for someone friendly and efficient to join our team. Preferred applicants will have some hospitality or hands-on cleaning experience, but this is not a requirement. Enthusiasm and attention to detail goes a long way at Art Coast - we are a growing company, and team members who do great work while contributing to our positive company culture will be considered for promotions and management roles.

There will be hands-on training with a member of management to ensure you have all the knowledge to complete your tasks efficiently. All supplies will be provided. This is a fast paced environment in which your schedule may change as market demands. We are looking for someone who is flexible and can shift with the demands of the industry. Weekend availability is a must.

Job responsibilities

  • Thorough cleaning of our vacation rental homes
  • Using company provided tools such as brooms, mops, vacuums, towels, erasers, and other products to wash all surfaces of the homes
  • Assemble and stage the home as needed
  • Wash/fold laundry and organize linens
  • Ensure the home is staged and cleaned in accordance with company standards
  • Note damages caused to the home by guests and report to management
  • Take out trash
  • Restock Inventory in homes, such as soaps, toilet paper, etc
  • Attend company events and meetings
  • Problem solving the unexpected!

Minimum Requirements for this job:

  • A vehicle or other form of transportation to various locations between South Haven and Holland (mostly Saugatuck)
  • A mobile phone for schedule management/ texting/calling/communication with the team
  • Ability to efficiently clean homes and occasionally move objects ~20lb
  • Integrity and Positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn and take things as they come. Every day is an adventure!
