We’re hiring a part-time Website Developer & Editor to handle ongoing website requests submitted by our clients through our ticketing system. This is a fully remote, flexible-hours contractor role — perfect for a freelancer with other projects looking to pick up steady, weekly work.

Instinctive Insights is a data-driven marketing agency serving the fitness industry. We help gyms and health clubs grow by combining cutting-edge marketing with smart technology. Our team is small, agile, and obsessed with getting results — and we’re looking for a reliable and efficient website developer/editor to join us on a part-time contractor basis.

What You’ll Do

  • Edit and update existing websites (mostly WordPress and Webflow)
  • Build new landing pages or sections based on provided design mockups
  • Install, configure, and maintain WordPress plugins and themes
  • Support Shopify and WooCommerce (WordPress) e-commerce setups
  • Troubleshoot client website issues (broken pages, slow load times, plugin conflicts, etc.)
  • Handle support tickets promptly and communicate professionally with our team

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience with WordPress (Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, etc.)
  • Experience with Webflow (CMS, animations, custom styling)
  • Familiarity with Shopify and WooCommerce
  • Strong understanding of front-end web development (HTML, CSS, JS basics)
  • Basic Photoshop or Canva skills for editing images or resizing graphics
  • Reliable communication and self-management
  • Ability to track time and deliver within budgeted hours

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience working in a ticket-based environment (ClickUp, Jira, Zendesk, etc.)
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Google Tag Manager and tracking pixel setup experience
  • Familiarity with basic DNS and domain setup

Pay & Schedule:

  • Contractor (1099)
  • 5–10 hours per week, with flexibility (more during busy seasons)
  • $30–$60/hour depending on experience
  • Paid twice a month on the 1st and 15th
