Position Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Proofreader / Editor to join our client's remote team. This role is essential for ensuring the accuracy and quality of content across various media forms, enhancing the clarity, readability, and effectiveness of communications. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with content creators and marketing teams to refine and perfect written materials before publication.

Key Responsibilities:

    Proofreading Texts: Review and correct grammatical, typographical, or compositional errors in drafts of written content.

    Editing Content: Enhance the clarity, style, and coherence of text with an eye toward maintaining the author's voice and style.

    Collaborating with Writers: Work closely with writers and content creators to discuss revisions and refine content.

    Upholding Standards: Ensure all content meets industry standards and complies with company guidelines.

    Managing Workflows: Organize, prioritize, and manage multiple editing tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communication, or a related field.

    At least 3 years of experience in proofreading and editing, ideally within a marketing, publishing, or related creative field. Experience at an ad agency highly preferred.

    Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, style, and punctuation.

    Proficiency with digital editing tools and content management systems.

    Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
