Job Description

Are you passionate about technology and eager to kickstart your career in the rapidly evolving field of cybersecurity? IBM is offering an exciting entry-level opportunity for a Virtual Cybersecurity Trainee. This program is designed for ambitious individuals with little to no prior professional experience in cybersecurity, providing comprehensive training, mentorship, and practical experience. You will learn the fundamentals of threat detection, incident response, security best practices, and work with cutting-edge tools and technologies. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to learn and grow from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in structured training programs and workshops focused on cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
  • Assist senior cybersecurity professionals with tasks such as security monitoring, vulnerability assessments, and incident response support.
  • Learn to identify, analyze, and report potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of security documentation and procedures.
