A hybrid work option may or may not be available.<br /> The Fandom Network is a dynamic, fast-paced team with a mission to meet audiences where they are. We own a network of 100+ channels featuring Sony's vast library of films and TV shows, from iconic franchises like Spider-Man and Ghostbusters to hidden gems like The Steve Harvey Show.<br /> Our mission is to convert viewers into fans, and we do that by building highly engaged fan communities on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.<br /> In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to own and operate a few TikTok pages and YouTube channels from the ground up. You will be a jack of all trades: launching, scheduling, programming, curating, managing, and running analytics – all important components of learning how to develop into a portfolio manager.<br /> RESPONSIBILITIES:<br /> • Building High-Level Digital Strategies;<br /> Work with the Portfolio Management team to create holistic channel strategies. Tap into your TikTok/Gen-Z expertise and develop content ideas across a few channels.<br /> • Executing a Content Pipeline;<br /> Brainstorm title selections from Sony's deep catalog of IP and create a content calendar for launching and maintaining brand-new channels. This will include scheduling content well in advance and aligning with key cultural moments, holidays, and current events.<br /> • Monitoring Trends & Cultural Moments;<br /> Stay on top of vertical video and TikTok trends. Be able to quickly turn around content that is especially relevant to Gen-Z audiences and the cultural zeitgeist.<br /> • Owning Community Management & Engagement;<br /> Develop a channel's distinct tone of voice and write all copy/audience replies with the brand voice in mind.<br /> • Distilling & Delivering Social Media Insights;<br /> Track and report performance across channels, being able to provide weekly updates on top performing content. This may involve giving presentations from time to time.<br /> QUALIFICATIONS:<br /> • Bachelor's Degree<br /> • 1-2 years of social video marketing experience, i.e. previous internship(s)<br /> • Deep knowledge of TikTok and short-form content<br /> • Experience with content curation on social media and video platforms<br /> • Strong attention to detail and organization skills<br /> • Strong editorial and copywriting skills<br /> • Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills<br /> • Deep interest in film, television and media<br /> • Strong understanding of Gen-Z/Alpha culture, ''chronically online''<br /> PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:<br /> • Experience and interest in digital advertisting trends, new technologies, and media history;<br /> • Proficiency in distilling insights from Tiktok analytics;<br /> • Strong ability to develop relationships and work cross functionally across partners;<br /> • Strong initiative and the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;<br /> • Strong analytical, research and quantitative stills<br /> The anticipated base salary for this position is $22/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits.
