Is this experience for you? To qualify for the Engineering or Manufacturing summer intern program, you must be a student and:

  • A rising juniors or seniors at the time of the internship in good academic standing (minimum 3.0 GPA preferred)
  • A strong communicator with strategic, analytical and creative thinking skills and demonstrated leadership initiative
  • An experienced in work related to academic subject area

Engineering program participants pursing a relevant undergraduate Engineering degree program. Those completing the internship are considered for full-time positions and entrance into Altria’s Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP). Manufacturing program participants pursing a relevant undergraduate Engineering, Technology or Business related degree program. Those completing the internship are considered for full-time positions and entrance into Altria’s Manufacturing Leadership Development University (MLDU) Internship location will be in Richmond, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, or remote (based on company discretion and business need). Housing assistance is available for eligible interns! PLEASE NOTE: We do not retain resumes submitted outside of our application process. To qualify for our internships, you must be eligible to work full time within the United States without sponsorship. Candidates must pass a drug-screen and background check prior to employment.
