We are looking for Underground laborers who takes pride in their work. This person must be self-motivated and able to work together with a team.

Experience:

· A plus but not required: Potholing- Digging- Wire pulling- Mini Excavator- Boring unit- Plow- Trencher- Concrete saw

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Operates various hand tools, including but not limited to jackhammer, demo saws, pick, shovel, survey equipment, wrenches and various hand tools.
  • Learns and complies with all rules and regulations in, but not limited to, Employee Handbook, OSHA Safety, Confined Space Program, etc.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work with little or no supervision
  • Ability to work in confined spaces
  • Ability to read and interpret various formats of English language instructions such as maps, blue prints, diagrams, etc.
  • Demonstrates dependability through good attendance and adherence to timelines and schedules.
  • Ability to effectively function as a team player and project a positive attitude
  • Able and willing to be on call and work extended hours, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to report for work on time and perform the duties of the job for a complete workday in our geographical work areas

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to hear and have visual acuity including close vision
  • Ability to lift 70+ lbs
  • Must be able to walk, stoop, kneel, bend, crawl, and move through a job site
  • Must be able to be active for 8+ hours a day
