Your Responsibilities

As a User Experience Manager for JD Financial located in Chicago, Illinois or Johnston, Iowa, you will:

  • Lead UX Research Initiatives: Conduct and manage research to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points related to digital products & key initiatives. This includes using both quantitative methods (like online surveys and A/B testing) and qualitative methods (such as usability testing and in-depth interviews) to gather insights.
  • Develop and Implement UX Strategies: Create and execute UX strategies in support of our digital LEAP ambitions. This involves defining personas, journey maps, and digital touchpoints, as well as providing guidelines on UX tools and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, product teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that UX design is integrated into the product development process.
  • Enhance UX Maturity and Knowledge: Provide targeted UX training for product teams and promote a culture of user-centered design. This includes conducting workshops, creating documentation, and sharing best practices to improve the overall UX maturity within the organization.
  • UX Team Management: Oversee a team of ~8 UX professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high-quality UX design and research

What Skills You Need

  • Experience defining and implementing a design system spanning multiple digital product areas.
  • Technical Proficiency in utilizing UX tools and methodologies (Figma, behavioral data tooling, etc.)

Education
