This position requires the incumbent to develop an understanding of local hydrology within the region including the State Engineer’s area policies and management plans, interact with water users, and process water right applications in conjunction with the ULJR Regional Engineer. Additional duties for this position include attending water right hearings and public meetings, conducting dam inspections, and performing field reviews when necessary.
