As a Call Center HR Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering best-in-class Leave of Absence, Disability, and HR services to employees, applicants, and candidates globally. You will provide accurate, consistent, and timely responses to inquiries through various contact channels, including phone, web case, and chat.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Take ownership of employee contacts ensuring that each contact is accepted and resolved with a high degree of problem-solving and customer service. </li><li>Receive and resolve inquiries primarily via phone, chats, and emails as the first point of contact for Leave, Disability, and HR-related inquiries. </li><li>Resolve inquiries holistically by referring to available documentation such as frequently asked questions, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures, and escalate when necessary. </li><li>Build customer trust through empathetic, personalized conversations by assessing and adjusting the case management plan to each employee's changing needs. </li><li>Respond to employee-impacting issues that may arise during the leave event and ensure the right communication and documentation occurs. </li><li>Use high judgment, critical thinking, and rationale to balance process adherence with employees' needs to analyze and decide on disability, leave, and accommodations requests. </li><li>Consistently consult and collaborate with partner teams on process changes to resolve cross-functional issues and update policies. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Essential Skills<br><br></strong><ul><li>3+ years of recent customer support, particularly with phone and chat communications. </li><li>HR knowledge and experience. </li><li>Strong communication skills. </li><li>Ability to show and demonstrate empathy. </li><li>Proficiency in computers and ability to research to find answers and information. </li><li>Experience dealing with customers and exceptional use of empathy skills. </li><li>Proven ability to adjust to constantly changing workloads and manage customer contacts in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Ability to manage confidential and sensitive employee information and adhere to strict data privacy standards. </li><li>Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze, problem-solve, organize, and manage multiple priorities. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Work Environment<br><br></strong>This is a 100% remote position. Candidates are expected to be on camera during the training and nesting period.
