If you’re ready to work on our planes, join our Tech Ops experts and help keep our fleet in tip-top shape.<br><br><strong>Job Overview And Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Reporting to Managing Director, leadership of all Technical Operations activities within the hub station ensuring the highest levels of safety, operational performance and regulatory compliance whilst maintaining a strong focus on product & process improvement, cost control, productivity and team building</li><li>Supports Managing Director to plan and actively manage both long range and day to day maintenance operations within the hub station</li><li>Works closely with direct reports and labor to insure optimal productivity, positive labor relations and adequate resources are available to support the mission</li><li>Execution of departmental strategy and business plan through direct leadership of station maintenance personnel</li><li>Shared responsibility for budgetary compliance and cost control within the station – Provide leadership and direction to maintenance organization including labor workforce to maximize productivity and output in accordance with collective bargaining agreements where applicable whilst ensuring necessary resources are available</li><li>Build / reinforce a fair and respectful work environment through consistent application of CBA work rules and company policies</li><li>Execute station performance goals and objectives aligning with divisional and company goals</li><li>Maintain a high level of awareness of operational, financial, compliance, safety and human resource related performance objectives</li><li>Ensure safety and security of aircraft and operations</li><li>Interface with regulatory authorities and local governments to ensure regulatory compliance of technical operations activities</li><li>Maintain a high level of communication with all levels & employee groups within the station</li><li>Report status of operations, highlighting significant events to MD whilst providing direction to assigned station personnel to ensure divisional objectives are achieved</li><li>Identify key issues needing to be addressed and assign projects where applicable<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong>What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):<br><br><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management, Engineering, or related field, or comparable experience</li><li>FAA A&P Certificate</li><li>8 years in the aircraft maintenance industry with a minimum 3 years in management involving a leadership role</li><li>Extensive knowledge of aircraft maintenance operations and applicable FAA regulations</li><li>Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship</li><li>Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification</li><li>Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position<br><br></li></ul>What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):<br><br><ul><li>2 years in a leadership role within a large maintenance organization including a unionized labor workforce</li><li>A proven successful track record </li><li>Strong background and technical knowledge on fleet types operated and maintenance programs<br><br></li></ul>The base pay range for this role is $137,275.00 to $178,670.00.<br><br>The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills.
