Once a U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is approved, full time work can commence. Unclassified work may be available prior to that approval; however, it is NOT guaranteed. . This position is onsite in Richardson, TX.<br><br><strong>What You Will Do<br><br></strong>Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for cutting edge satellite ground systems.<br><br>Work with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.<br><br><strong>What You Will Learn<br><br></strong>A breadth of advanced software technologies and techniques including multi-tiered architectures, AWS web services, and microservice software design.<br><br>Modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques.<br><br>Software lifecycle practices for large-scale defense projects.<br><br>Satellite ground system technologies including command & telemetry, flight dynamics, planning and scheduling, and spacecraft operations.<br><br><strong>Qualifications You Must Have<br><br></strong>Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).<br><br>This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding Internships).<br><br>Heavy object-oriented software emphasis would be considered.<br><br>Experience developing object-oriented software using Java or C++.<br><br>The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required.  U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.<br><br><strong>Qualifications We Prefer<br><br></strong>Experience with Agile development methods.<br><br>Experience with Python programming.<br><br>Knowledge of multi-threaded programming<br><br>Experience with microservices in cloud environments.<br><br>Experience working within LINUX/UNIX operating systems.<br><br>Experience with tools such as Confluence, Eclipse, Jira, Jenkins, Junit, Kafka, and Spring Boot<br><br>Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is desired.
