Work Schedule:
 Minimum of 20 hours per month, maximum of 80 hours per month. The schedule is determined based on the workload.


Brief Description of the work:
This individual will perform database work including but not limited to alias changes, device additions and removals, inventory and other various task.
  • Create and update work orders.
  • Prepare and ship damaged radios and other equipment off for repair.
  • Prepare miscellaneous database queries monthly for various agencies.
  • Track ID data for local, federal, and state agencies region-wide.
  • Provide effective public safety radio operations through database management.
  • Enter requisitions into the procurement system.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, or annually billing in the procurement system.
  • Assist with other duties as needed.


This job is Non-Exempt and is subject to the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

 

Qualifications

 

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED with 5-7 years of Administrative Assistant and financial experience.
  • Microsoft software experience (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


An Ideal Candidate Would Possess (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Associates Degree
  • 5 + years’ experience involving financial processes, records management, office management, and contracts
  • Experience using databases
  • Budget and accounting experience
  • Experience with file retention
  • Experience with procurement practices and procedures
