Responsibilities
• Work with Maintenance Technician IIs which includes preparing rooms for painting by installing floor coverings and taping windows and fixtures as needed, gathering painting supplies, and cleaning work sites, assisting with door repair/ replacements, assisting with ceiling tile grid repairs, replacing ceiling tiles, repairing fences
• Any other duties needed to assist the Maintenance Technicians
• Work with HVAC field staff which includes installing or repairing ducts, changing filters, assisting in the repair or installation of HVAC systems
• Any other duties needed to assist HVAC technicians
• Work with plumbing field staff which includes repairing or installing sink fixtures, repairing or installing toilets, repairing or installing water pipes
• Any other duties needed to assist the plumber
• Perform custodial duties at any building facility as needed
• Perform landscaping duties as needed
• May be asked to perform other duties as assigned

Position Type and Typical Hours of Work
• Non exempt - Full-Time
• Non rotating 40-hour work week, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; must be available to work additional hours as needed
• In the event of an emergency, employees are required to work to provide for the safety and well-being of the public, including the delivery and restoration of vital services.

Minimum Qualifications
• High School/ GED

• A valid driver's license is required; successful out-of-state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire

Basis of Rating
