Join John Deere as a Part-Time Student in Quality Engineering, working onsite to develop data-driven solutions and support factory engineering.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ingesting, evaluating, and preparing data for use in dashboards and solutions.
  • Creating analysis tools and dynamic visualizations to accelerate insight generation for customers.
  • Maintaining and monitoring data in business software (SAP) to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Communicating findings and methodologies to stakeholders at multiple levels.

About You

The company is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field; others may apply.
  • Registered as a full-time student at a local accredited college/university.
  • Available to work 16-20 hours weekly during the academic year and 35-40 hours weekly during the summer semester.
  • Able to commute daily to the Waterloo, Iowa work location year-round.
  • Graduation date of December 2026 or later.
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • VISA sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred skills include:

  • Good interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
