Find your fit — and your future.<br><br>We are seeking a financially grounded and strategic Senior Manager to join our Global Merchandise Planning Insights team and help drive smarter, faster decisions across planning. This role is pivotal in driving pre-season and in-season planning strategies that shape our product investment decisions, support financial targets, and enable profitable growth across our global business.<br><br>You’ll be part of the Global Planning team, reporting to the Director of Global Planning, and will manage a small team (2-3 direct reports). You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders across Global Planning, Global Merchandising, Finance, and Cluster teams to deliver high-impact insights and recommendations that fuel growth.<br><br><strong>About The Job<br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.</li><li>Own the merchandise financial planning (MFP) process across global to cluster ensuring gender, category, and class level alignment with company growth targets.</li><li>Manage total brand rollups, including long-range category plans, seasonal assortment frameworks, and cluster MFPs, ensuring product strategies are financially sound.</li><li>Drive global in-season performance recaps through weekly analysis, identifying risks and opportunities to optimize inventory and sales.</li><li>Lead seasonal hindsight recaps and contribute to MBR/QBR meetings with leadership, providing clear financial narratives and recommendations.</li><li>Consolidate global buy review and investment review materials to support executive-level decision-making.</li><li>Support pre-season development milestones with financial inputs highlighting risks and opportunities to our revenue or margin targets</li><li>Collaborate with cluster teams to gather insights and ensure financial plans reflect both global priorities and cluster needs.</li><li>Partner with Finance to align merchandise plans with broader financial forecasts and targets.</li><li>Track performance of key product stories, new fits, and seasonal initiatives to inform future planning cycles.</li><li>Conduct ad hoc deep dives into product, category, or channel performance to uncover drivers of growth or underperformance, and deliver actionable recommendations to cross-functional partners.<br><br></li></ul><strong>About You<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Business with financial, Data Analytics/Statistics related field.</li><li>6+ years of experience in data analytics, planning, business intelligence, or reporting</li><li>Proven people management skills, with experience coaching, developing, and inspiring analysts and cross-functional teams.</li><li>Strategic manager who excels in ambiguity, asks the right questions, and can guide partners through data-driven storytelling.</li><li>Strong financial acumen and understanding of key DTC and Wholesale metrics (e.g., AOV, UPT, sell-through, margin, inventory turns).</li><li>Ability to translate financial data into actionable strategies and influence cross-functional partners.</li><li>Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and statistical analysis techniques.</li><li>Ability to distill complex data into clear, compelling business narratives.</li><li>Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in planning, merchandising, and product.<br><br></li></ul>This is a hybrid position based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs.<br><br><em>The expected starting salary range for this role is $132,900 - $177,200 per year<strong>.</strong></em> <em>We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.<br><br></em>Levi Strauss & Co.
