Location: Americas (North, Central and South America)

Zapier is on a mission to make automation work for everyone, and we're seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead our initiative around unified code tools. This person will be responsible for driving the next evolution of Zapier’s code-based automation tools into a single, reusable experience that’s accessible to users of varying skill levels. This is a rare opportunity to unify multiple code surfaces into a cohesive experience that is core to Zapier’s mission of making automation work for everyone.

As the Senior PM for this project, you’ll partner with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to define and execute the strategy for making code-based automation key for Zapier’s future.

In this role, you'll:

  • Drive the product vision and roadmap new reusable, shareable code assets.

  • Engage deeply with customers, using real-world usage, feedback, and migration pain points to guide prioritization and evolution of the product.

  • Partner closely with engineers and designers to shape a high-quality code development experience.

  • Work across teams to embed code experiences seamlessly into Zapier’s core product and develop a consistent experience for calling and managing reusable components

  • Help define go-to-market strategies to support both self-serve power users and enterprise adoption of reusable code assets.

  • Bring clarity and focus to ambiguity, saying no when needed and staying aligned with business and customer needs.

This high-visibility role requires a strong sense of product ownership, technical fluency, and a passion for evolving products in flight with empathy and precision.

If you’re excited about consolidating developer platforms, thrive in complex migration environments, and care deeply about creating thoughtful experiences for users, we’d love to hear from you!

My name is Noah, and I’m the Director of Product for Workflow at Zapier, and this role will report to me. Zapier, we like to share our README’s so you can get to us too; here’s mine.

About You

  • You’re a builder at heart. You thrive in the 0–1 and 1–10 product phases and have led products through their earliest go-to-market stages toward broader adoption.

  • You’re customer-focused. You talk to users regularly and use their needs and insights to justify roadmap decisions and resolve ambiguity.

  • You bring technical depth. You’re comfortable in discussions about system design, SDKs, and API architecture. You use this understanding to work effectively with engineers and make sound product decisions.

  • You prioritize effectively. You balance short-term delivery and long-term investment. You know when to experiment, when to refine, and when to scale.

  • You work iteratively. You’re comfortable evolving strategies and roadmaps based on feedback, metrics, and real-world usage.

  • You collaborate cross-functionally. You have a pulse on what’s happening across the company and collaborate deeply with other teams to deliver cohesive experiences.

  • You are a skilled written communicator. Zapier is a 100% remote team and writing is our primary means of communication. You can clearly communicate product strategy, decisions, and vision to varied audiences.

Things You’ll Do

  • Communicate a vision for Zapier’s Unified Code Experience over the next 3–12 months and build a roadmap to match that vision.

  • Work in a small, cross-functional team alongside engineering and design to decide what to build next and deliver it.

  • Talk with users, as well as internal stakeholders to understand pain points and opportunities.

  • Work closely with engineers to scope and deliver features that balance developer experience, system performance, and cost.

  • Define and track success metrics and use data to guide prioritization and product strategy.

  • Collaborate on positioning and go-to-market planning for major product launches.
