As a Virtual Customer Scheduling Clerk at Array Behavioral Care, you will play a crucial role in our team by managing our clients' appointments and schedules. You will be responsible for interacting with individuals, their families, and/or referring provider's personnel with professionalism, compassion, and a customer-centric mindset. You will be working remotely in a fast-paced virtual environment, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth scheduling process for those seeking mental and behavioral health services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering inbound calls and emails from individuals, their families, and/or referring providers seeking mental and behavioral health services
  • Accurately schedule appointments for clients with clinicians based on their needs and availability
  • Provide detailed information about our services and answer any questions or concerns that clients or providers may have
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that all client information and scheduling is accurate and up to date
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of client information in accordance with company policies and HIPAA regulations
  • Proactively reach out to clients to schedule appointments, reschedule appointments, and confirm appointments
  • Utilize scheduling software and other tools to ensure efficient and organized scheduling processes


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service or scheduling role, preferably in a healthcare or mental healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to maintain a professional and empathetic demeanor at all times
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in using computer software and applications, with knowledge of scheduling software a plus
  • Ability to work remotely and adapt to a virtual working environment
  • Basic knowledge of mental and behavioral health services and terminology preferred
