About the position

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Cascade Designs brand sites and warranty repair store on Shopify Plus, ensuring they are user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for performance
  • Integrate 3rd party Shopify apps to support various business functions in marketing, customer service, repairs, returns, fraud management, and others
  • Develop and maintain various back-end integrations with the ERP system to exchange order, inventory, product, and payment related data to/from Shopify
  • Build custom workflows using Shopify Flow to automate workflows that include 3rd party connected apps
  • Extend and customize backend logic using Shopify Functions to support business needs
  • Configure, deploy and manage Javascript-based analytics and advertising tags in Google Tag Manager (GTM)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in IT, marketing, customer service, and repairs to ensure smooth operation of our e-commerce platform
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify features, best practices, and industry trends to ensure the delivery of cutting-edge solutions
  • Adhere to the latest design, development, and accessibility standards

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Shopify (Plus)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and Liquid
  • 3+ years of experience with JavaScript and jQuery
  • Experience with GraphQL and REST APIs
  • Expertise in SQL database structure and writing and optimizing SQL
  • Experience in .NET Core is desirable
  • Experience with Angular will be beneficial
  • Experience in both Agile and Waterfall environments
  • Strong analytical, multitasking, and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire and aptitude to learn new technologies

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in .NET Core
  • Experience with Angular
