<p><strong>Role:</strong></p><p>We are hiring a Youtube Manager for Alex Hormozi.</p><p><br></p><p>The YouTube Manager for Team Alex is a strategic and creative leader of the Mozi Media team that serves as the connective tissue between Alex’s business priorities and how they’re translated to long form videos.</p><p><br></p><p>You're not just managing a YouTube channel. You're building the #1 educational platform online for entrepreneurs and setting a bar for content so high others can only chase. You’ll own the strategy, the story, and the systems behind uploads that scales Alex’s thinking to hundreds of millions of impressions a year on YouTube.</p><p><br></p><p>This isn't your typical content role. You’ll also maintain strategic alignment with key business initiatives like book launches, offers, and brand perception goals.</p><p><br></p><p>You'll work hand-in-hand with Alex and our Director of Media to shape channel strategy, brand identity, content production, and distribution.</p><p><br></p><p>If the idea of leading and growing YouTube’s top business channel excites you, let’s talk.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><ol><li><strong>Team Leadership and YouTube Infrastructure</strong></li></ol><ul><li>Manage editors, thumbnail designers, and pre-production on Team Alex</li><li>Maintain relevant YouTube scorecard metrics (pull retention, view velocity, follower growth) and present weekly insights to Alex and Team Alex</li><li>Develop scalable, documented systems for scripting, packaging, and production handoffs</li><li>Grow and develop direct reports and members of the YouTube Team</li><li>Explore and test AI tools to accelerate pre- and post-production workflows. Identify opportunities to prototype AI-driven content testing, retention analysis, and scripting support.</li><li>Coordinate with marketing, shorts teams, and external stakeholders for distribution and promotion</li></ul><ol><li><strong>YouTube Strategy and Channel Architecture</strong></li></ol><ul><li>Define and lead YouTube channel growth strategy with input from Alex</li><li>Balance evergreen thought leadership with timely reactions to market trends and other experimental formats.</li><li>Ensure every video not only educates but reinforces the authority, credibility, and mission of Acquisition.com. Maintain the brand’s distinct tone: authoritative, no-fluff, and founder-first.</li><li>Lead the visual identity of packaging and run consistent AB testing for packaging on back catalogue</li><li>Keep relevant YouTube scorecard metrics (pull retention, view velocity, follower growth) and present weekly insights to Alex and Team Alex</li></ul><ol><li><strong>Pre-Production</strong></li></ol><ul><li>Lead ideation and outlier research sessions</li><li>Provide feedback and insight to YouTube team members on packaging briefs and video outline</li><li>Maintain a four-to-six-week buffer of fully approved topics (outlines, rough thumbnail concepts and title options)</li></ul><ol><li><strong>Production</strong></li></ol><ul><li>Draft run-of-show documents and help with facilitating shoots—prompting follow-up questions, pacing segments, and capturing live notes for editors to shorten post production time</li><li>Collaborate with videographer team for previsualization of props, intros, and visual setups for videos</li><li>Own the coordination of our interactive formats (ie Hormozi Hotline and Cash Cows) including guest scouting, production prep, and production leadership on site.</li></ul><ol><li><strong>Post-Production</strong></li></ol><ul><li>Ownership and management over post production timelines and upload calendar</li><li>Conduct regular retention reviews to improve audience engagement</li><li>Work with Senior Editor to provide retention notes on edits + final approval for uploads</li><li>Create brand guidelines, SOPS, and artifacts to continuously make post production seamless and cohesive</li></ul><li></li><p><strong><u>Results:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Accelerated subscriber growth</li><li>% of videos that outperform channel baselines on impressions and subscriber growth</li><li>Lift in subscriber-to-view ratios for videos</li><li>Higher average views per video and a steeper 24/48-hour velocity curve.</li><li>Regular documentation of content experiments and AB tests</li><li>Improved usage of AI and other tools to increase team leverage in production</li><li>Maintain quantity of uploads (3x+ a week) while maintaining quality and brand alignment</li><li>Alex sentiment on brand and growth (excitement about filming, video topics, performance and brand discussions)</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong><u>Requirements:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Deep understanding of the YouTube landscape - concepts, thumbnails, titles, and retention editing</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Strong analytical fundamentals and ability to work with data</li><li>2+ years of relevant experience in YouTube channel development, bonus points if for a large educational channel</li><li>Proficiency with editing notes tools (like frame.io)</li><li>Proficiency with project management tools like Clickup and Asana</li><li>Proficiency with GSuite</li><li>Knowledge of editing and photoshop considered an asset but not essential</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Communication Expectations:</u></strong></p><ul><li>We use Slack – it is the go to for any communications</li><li>We value over-communication (more context the better)</li><li>We value speed in communication (be prompt in responding or provide context as to why you may be slow to respond)</li><li>Weekly Creative Team Alex Meetings</li><li>Weekly meetings with Director of Media</li><li>Weekly meetings with vendors</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Location:</strong></p><ul><li>Las Vegas, Nevada (onsite)</li></ul><p>Hours:</p><ul><li>Mon - Fri 8am - 6pm PT with flexibility to work weekends when needed.</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p><ul><li>$90,000 - $110,000 annually</li></ul><p><strong>Relocation Assistance:</strong></p><ul><li>We know that great talent comes from all over, so we're here to help you make the move.
