Accounting Manager (Accounts Receivable) ID-3031

A large Japanese beverage company in Berkeley and San Francisco is seeking an Accounting Manager position.

You will be responsible for managing accounts receivable (AR/Accounts Receivable).

<Job Description>

  • ・Prepare sales invoices for each branch warehouse, website, etc., and confirm bill of lading details, etc. After that, input the information into the computer.
  • ・Print out a copy of each bill of lading and send a copy by e-mail, fax, or postal mail to the customer upon request. Reconcile bill of lading with sales invoices and report prior to mailing.

Manually prepare sales invoices using excel sheets as needed.

  • ∙ Search bank website and prepare daily lockbox deposit slips

Reconcile cash receipts from monthly bank statements in detail (lockbox, office, tasting room deposits, customer wire transfers) and then enter into computer

  • ・Review and report all cash receipts prior to posting.
  • ・Prepare check requests for payment and monthly brokerage commission schedule
  • ・Analyzes monthly sales, prepares monthly credit card entries, and enters into computer
  • ・Reconcile monthly statements
  • ∙ Reconcile monthly bank account details (AR)
  • ・Update fixed expenses and special allowances
  • ・Close monthly sales and assist with year-end audits
  • ・Monthly closing of the accounting department (steps below)
    • Post all sales invoices RTN, cash receipts, credit/debit memos if available
    • Post all sales and cash receipts for journal entries (TRS) and tasting room/internet
    • Detail bank reconciliations (AR)
    • Upload copies of all sales invoices, special interest accounts and statements

<Requirements>

  • ・S. work visa holders
  • ・Experience with AR (Accounts Receivable) is preferred.
  • ・No experience required, but please consult with us if you are interested in taking on this challenge.
  • ・Accounting Manager experience is preferred.
  • ・CPB experience of 5 years or more is preferred.
