Primary Purpose: Process new and returning student registrations. Maintain accurate attendance records for the campus. Under close supervision, perform data entry including attendance, Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) data, and grades. Qualifications: Education/Certification: High school or GEDSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Ability to use software to develop spreadsheets and databases, and do word processing Proficient in keyboarding, 10-key numerical data entry, and file maintenance Ability to meet established deadlines Skyward experience, preferred Experience:2-5 years of data entry experience Major Responsibilities and Duties: Records, Reports, and Correspondence Collect and enter attendance and PEIMS data into an established database and verify accuracy according to prescribed procedures. Maintain student records and process requests for student information and transcripts. Process new student records, including requesting transcripts and records from other schools, obtaining proof of residency, and process student withdrawals. Create and maintain physical and computerized records, including cumulative folders, progress and failure reports, class rosters, grade books, schedules, entity counts and grade changes. Assist parents, students, and faculty with questions regarding student attendance, gradebook,parent portal, registration, and residency issues. Contact parents/guardians to verify student absences as needed and report attendance problems to designated administrators. Collect and maintain parent and doctor notes for absences Process new and returning Pre-K 3 and 4 students. Including maintaining records or students who are tuition based versus qualifying, full day versus half day and collecting the proper documentation. Generate and balance, maintain, file, and distribute all reports, records, and other documents as required following established procedures. This includes attendance reports, grade reports, report cards, and 6-weeks reports that include Title, At-Risk, Migrant, Immigrant, Homeless, Homebound, Bilingual-ESL, GT, Special Education, 504 and transfer students.Other Assist in the campus' front office as needed. Serve as the campus Public Notary Liaison. Maintain confidentiality. Other duties as assigned to support the campus. Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
