We are looking for a Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team in a client-facing, in-office role, to support our small business and individual clients with expert tax and accounting services. and help ensure smooth daily operations in a fast-paced, client-centered environment.

About the Role:

As a Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant, you'll play a key role in both the front and back office. You’ll be a main point of contact for clients while also assisting with bookkeeping, document handling, and administrative tasks to support our tax and accounting professionals. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working closely with clients to meet their financial and compliance needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Support: Greet and assist clients in the office; provide professional service
  • Phone Management: Answer calls, take messages, and direct inquiries
  • Filing & Scanning: Maintain accurate physical and digital records
  • Payment Processing: Handle client payments and bank deposits
  • Accounting Assistance: Support bookkeeping, payroll, and sales tax tasks
  • Tax Season Help: Assist with administrative tax prep tasks including data entry, document review, return processing and client communication
  • Reporting: Update internal records and company reports

What We’re Looking For:

  • Prior experience in accounting, tax, or a related administrative role strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Job Details:
