JOB SUMMARY:

Provides fast, accurate, and friendly service to all internal and external customers while providing full compliance with all regulatory controls.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Exchanges cash, coins, checks, and Tito tickets for all gaming customers in accordance with defined policies and procedures.

2. Performs functions for Bingo, Slot and Pit areas as required.

3. Ensures the safety of all restricted and non-restricted keys.

4. Maintains control of their impress bank as well as being able to be cross-trained in all gaming and non-gaming areas.

5. Provides excellent customer service.

6. Creates a positive and upbeat atmosphere for our guests.

7. Reconciles impress bank at the end of shift.

8. Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

· Must have a High school diploma or equivalency.

· Must be at least 21 years old

· Good math skills are essential.

· Must be able to use a 10-key calculator.

· Previous banking, cashiering, or extended money handling skills preferred.

· Light, basic computer skills needed.

· Must be able to work all shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

· Must have excellent attendance.

· Must be a team player.

· Must have effective communication skills both oral and written.

· Must maintain strict confidentiality at all times, including personnel data, gaming regulations and compliance.

· Must always remain sensitive to cultural diversity in the work place.

REASONING ABILITY:

· Must be able to identify problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

· Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and balance multiple priorities successfully.

· Must be able to write routine reports and correspondence.

· Must be able to create enthusiasm and promote organizational change.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

· Must be able to lift and move up to thirty-five (35) pounds.

· Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods.

· Must be able to stand, stoop, constantly lift, and do repetitive motion.

· Must have good vision, hearing, manual dexterity, and flexibility.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

· Must be able to work in an enclosed area.

· Must be capable of working in a noisy and crowded environment.

· Constantly works under close surveillance cameras.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

· Candidate selected for employment will be subject to employment reference and background check.

· Must obtain and maintain a Southern Ute Division of Gaming Support license.

· Must comply fully with all Sky Ute Casino Resort’s Policies & Procedures, Gaming Code Regulations, and any applicable policies & regulations set forth by the Casino Resort.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
