Home Instead-Pueblo, Pueblo West, Canon City, Florence, Penrose, Rye, Westcliffe, Fowler, Avondale, Boone, Colorado City is looking for caring and compassionate Caregivers/Care Professionals to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead provides a variety of services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Companionship and conversation
  • Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
  • Medication and appointment reminders
  • Assistance with grooming and bathing
  • Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
  • Dementia/Alzheimer’s Care
  • Medication management
  • Wound/Nail care

*Professional experience NOT required; paid training provided.*

Requirements to be a Care Professional:

  • Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
  • Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance

Shifts Available:

  • Daytime Shifts from 4 hours to 12 hours from 8:00 am – 10:00 pm
  • Overnight Shifts Available from 8 hours to 12 hours from 10:00 pm - 8:00 am
  • Live-In Services Available shift operates one day on, two days off ongoing
  • 8 am-noon, 10-5pm, and 6-10 pm.
