<p><b>Pay Rate: $22.50/hr</b></p><p><b>Job Summary:</b> We are seeking a dedicated CDL B Driver responsible for the seamless delivery and pickup of containers to and from customer locations. This role requires a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction while building excellent relationships with clients.</p><p><b>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Safely operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism for loading and unloading containers at client sites while adhering to all safety protocols.</li><li>Conduct daily pre and post trip inspections of the commercial vehicle and lift, ensuring optimal safety and performance.</li><li>Adapt to business needs by accepting additional deliveries as required.</li><li>Utilize a company-issued handheld computer for delivery verification and navigation tasks.</li><li>Skillfully operate a forklift and/or overhead crane as needed.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and inspect containers to ensure they are presentable for delivery.</li><li>Coordinate rental paperwork and payments with customers efficiently.</li><li>Communicate effectively with the Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding customer inquiries or issues, providing detailed driver notes when necessary.</li><li>Perform on-site repairs of containers and lifts as required, both in the field and at the storage center.</li><li>Assist with storage center operations when necessary, providing backup support.</li><li>Keep the truck cab clean and free of debris to maintain a professional work environment.</li><li>May be called upon to perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><b>Management & Supervisory Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>This position reports to Management, with direct supervisors typically being the Market Manager or Territory Manager.</li><li>This role does <b>not</b> entail direct management of other employees such as hiring, termination, pay decisions, or performance management.</li></ul><p><b>Job Qualifications: Education & Experience Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Valid CDL Class B License without air brake restriction.</li><li>Current and valid driver’s license.</li><li>Must meet PODS Driver Qualification Standards.</li><li>Must be at least 21 years of age to meet insurance requirements.</li><li>Possess a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or the ability to obtain a minimum of one year’s certification (DOT requirement).</li><li>Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software is preferred.</li><li>Basic math skills sufficient to perform required duties.</li><li>Or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.</li><li>Ability to participate in the required 2-week New Hire Driver Training Program.</li></ul><p><b>Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action Employer:</b></p><p>PODS Enterprises, LLC is committed to equal employment opportunity.
