Overview:

The Community Marketing Coordinator helps Fellow Coworking thrive by building strong connections with members, creating a welcoming environment, and sharing our story with the wider community. This role combines member engagement with creative marketing to enhance the experience for our current members and attract new ones. We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organized, and comfortable balancing people-focused work with marketing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Community Engagement

  • Build rapport with members and act as a resource for their needs, inquiries, and concerns.
  • Give friendly and welcoming tours to prospective members
  • Collaborate with other team members to implement strategies for member retention and satisfaction.

Marketing

  • Lead in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to promote Fellow Coworking and attract new members.
  • Create content for social media platforms, newsletters, and promotional materials to showcase Fellow’s offerings and community.
  • Monitor marketing metrics and campaign efficacy
  • Update website as needed

Administrative

  • Signing up new members
  • Assist members with minor IT requests (i.e. connect to printer), or escalate to IT vendor
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the space

Partnerships and Outreach

  • Support efforts to establish partnerships with local businesses and organizations to enhance Fellow’s offerings and visibility.
  • Occasionally represent Fellow Coworking at networking events and trade shows to expand the network and attract potential members.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in marketing is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Basic graphic design skills are a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Comfortable engaging with new people and building relationships.
  • Enthusiasm for building communities, fostering connections, and contributing to a positive work environment.
  • Requires the ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 30 lbs

Schedule and Compensation:

  • 20-25 hours per week, M-F 9:30 am to 1:30 pm*
  • Pay starts at $22, DOE
  • Occasional evenings or weekends as needed
  • Ideally have flexibility to cover coworkers as needed
