Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Maintenance to oversee all maintenance operations within our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of maintenance management, including both mechanical and electrical systems. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure that all equipment and facilities are maintained in optimal condition, enhancing operational efficiency and safety. Golf course and clay tennis court experience a plus.

Duties

  • Lead and manage the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and adherence to safety standards.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies for HVAC systems, programmable logic controllers (PLC), and other critical equipment.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, inventory management, and reporting.
  • Oversee industrial maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with schematics and engineering specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas needing repair or improvement.
  • Manage high voltage and low voltage electrical systems, ensuring safe operation and compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate project management efforts for maintenance-related projects, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices in maintenance management.
  • Train and mentor staff on mechanical knowledge, electrical experience, and effective use of tools such as ohmmeters.

Experience

  • Proven experience in facilities management with a focus on industrial environments.
  • Strong supervisory experience with a track record of leading maintenance teams effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, programmable logic controllers (PLC), electrical systems (high voltage and low voltage), and mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management principles, including project management skills.
  • Proficient in English with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members at all levels.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
