Dispatcher – Nampa, ID

Location: Nampa, ID
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Requirements: Must have prior dispatcher experience.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team in Nampa, ID. This position is with an Commercial Appliance & Refrigeration company and requires strong multitasking skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a confident candidate, who is eager and open to joining our team! The dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating daily service schedules, handling a high volume of calls, and ensuring seamless communication between technicians, customers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently coordinate and schedule dispatch operations to optimize workflow and ensure timely service.
  • Communicate professionally with technicians, customers, and internal staff to provide updates, resolve issues, and maintain clear expectations.
  • Monitor and update schedules in real time, ensuring accurate dispatching and efficient routing.
  • Utilize dispatching software to maintain detailed and accurate records of service calls, technician assignments, and customer interactions.
  • Manage a high volume of incoming calls, responding promptly and accurately while performing real-time data entry.
  • Prioritize and resolve service requests, adjusting schedules as needed to accommodate urgent situations.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills – Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented and highly accurate – Ensuring data entry, scheduling, and documentation are precise.
  • Excellent customer service and phone communication skills – Ability to remain professional, patient, and solution-focused when interacting with customers and technicians.
  • Proficient typing skills – Must be able to keep up with a high volume of calls and data entry efficiently.
  • Comfortable working on a computer and phone throughout the day – The role requires continuous use of dispatching software and phone communication.

Work Environment:

  • The position is primarily office-based, requiring frequent use of a computer and phone throughout the workday.
  • Sit/stand desks are available to accommodate comfort preferences, allowing employees to work in either a seated or standing position.
